安治(探景)

<1864>-<1889>
A short-lived ukiyo-e artist in the early Meiji period.
He became Kobayashi Kiyochika's apprentice in 1878 after working for Tsukioka Yoshitoshi.
In 1880, Yasuji started his career as an artist.
He launched the series "True Pictures of Famous Places of Tokyo" in the following year, which became his lifelong work.
