Tsukioka Yoshitoshi
江戸期の伝統的浮世絵に西洋の写実主義を加味し、詩情豊かな明治浮世絵を描いてみせたのが“最後の浮世絵師”と呼ばれる絵師、月岡芳年です。熟達した画技と、師である歌川国芳にも劣らない、豊かなイマジネーションにより生み出された作品は、時代を超えた高い芸術性を有しています。
